Shark Tank India judge and co-founder of BharatPe- Ashneer Grover, lately, has been grabbing headlines owing to his striking presence on social media. A few days ago, he shared a hilarious video with the comedian Shubham Gaur where they showed the striking difference between directions given by 'rich people' and 'middle-class people.’ On Wednesday, Ashneer posted a photo of him posing with Shark Tank India contestant Ravi Kabra and revealed that his brand Skippi pop has grown up 40X after the show. However, a few users badly trolled him, calling Ashneer 'dogla'.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Ashneer posted a picture of them and wrote, “Great to catch up with @skippiicepops founder @ravikabra after Shark Tank. Skippi is a great product and probably the biggest success story from @sharktank.india Season 1 with 40X growth in sales.” In the candid click, Ashneer and Ravi can be seen smiling as they pose together for the camera. To note, during the show, Ravi Kabra’s brand received a funding of Rs 1 crore for 15% equity from all the five sharks on the show. Fans and netizens took to the comments section to share their reactions. One user wrote, “Take entrepreneurship to next level.” But, a certain section of people trolled Ashneer Grover saying, “yeh sab dhoglapan hai.” One troll reacted, “Sab doglapan hai. He is with shoes and guest without shoes.”
For the unversed, Ravi Kabra along with his wife had appeared on Shark Tank India to pitch for their company Rs 45 Lakhs for 5% equity. Surprisingly, all the judges- Ashneer Grover, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, and Namita Thapar got so impressed by the pitch and the product that they invested Rs. 1 crore for 15% equity.
